My name is Iris, my passion is creating sugar shoes and also teaching.
I was born in Honduras and I now reside in the USA. My artistic side comes from my grandmother, Mercedes. I started making crafts with her when I was very young. From that point on I was hooked .
I studied to be a Pastry Chef at the “Star Career Culinary School” in New York.
I also have competed in many different competitions and I also judge cake shows and events.

Since I can remember, I always loved to create and design things. I also
love to cook and bake. So then I started getting creative with my baking and here I am.
My work has been publish in several magazines:
American Cake Decorating magazine.
Cake Central magazine.
Adore book.
Cake Master magazine.
ICES magazine.
French decorating Cake magazine.
My DVD Beautiful Sugar shoes was release on 2013.
I also involved with competitions and judging cake shows.
In 2014 I was nominated and a finalist “American Made Martha Stewart.
